Remembering the internet of yore

Do you remember in the early days of the internet when people kept sending emails to a huge subscription list saying "please remove me from this email list," followed by replies "remove me too"? Doesn't happen often anymore, since the time Aol disappeared, right? Well I just received a string of messages like that..... all from Aol.com address. Seems Aol is still around..... full of users who haven't figured out how to use email yet.
