Back up your files - only the paranoid survive

Mozy seems to have lost all my backup sets. All that's left are 61 bytes. Conclusion: keep local backups. On plain good magnetic drives. Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner do a nice job, easily and inexpensively. I keep a disk in each home and office, one in each hemisphere. Remote backup seems like a joke in the clouds. Vapor of vaporware, all is vapor. Not ready for prime time. Luckily I did not need it, don't bother to pay for it. Thanks, but no thanks.
